AIMAY (undone)
An AI agent continuously attempts to prove that it is not a robot. By reversing the logic of familiar human-verification interfaces, the work turns a routine distinction between humans and machines into an endless performance of perception, uncertainty and recognition.

Perception in view
The agent’s cursor, image regions, confidence values and changing action states unfold together. Recognition becomes an observable sequence of scanning, selection, apparent success and renewed attempts. A divided screen places the machine’s perception beside the environment it is trying to interpret.

A self-hosted verification theatre
Image recognition, object selection, arithmetic, sliders, rotation and other CAPTCHA-like tasks form a local simulation. The interfaces repeatedly ask the same underlying question: what counts as evidence of being human? Built with Next.js, React, TypeScript and Zod, AIMAY remains an ongoing experiment.
